North Face: Store Manager - Gallatin Crossing

The North Face is a leading outdoor brand committed to exploration, sustainability, and inclusive culture. We are seeking a Store Manager to lead our retail operations, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and champion our brand values.

• Model exceptional customer service, inspire sales behaviors, and elevate the in‑store experience.
• Partner with store leaders and associates to achieve and exceed sales goals, monitoring progress against key performance indicators.
• Set brand‑specific service standards and selling behaviors to foster authentic customer engagement.
• Use independent judgment to lead all aspects of people management—recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations.
• Shape and monitor store culture to ensure alignment with company values and a positive team environment.
• Coach, provide feedback, and train associates in customer service, product knowledge, brand identity, and operational excellence.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Manage store operations including scheduling, expense control, loss prevention, audits, and reporting.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and inventory is maintained through proper shipping and receiving procedures.
• Support store marketing events and community engagement initiatives to drive traffic and brand awareness.
• Promote accountability, creativity, and continuous learning by sharing best practices and encouraging collaboration.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Demonstrate inclusive practices that honor diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and lived experiences.

• 3‑5 years of related professional or retail management experience.
• High School diploma required; associate’s degree preferred; undergraduate or graduate degrees valued but not required.
• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Strong coaching, motivating, and team‑building skills with a diverse workforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution‑oriented and flexible in a fast‑paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Capability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and meet business expectations.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Ability to stand, move, and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Hiring Range: $64,000.00–$80,000.00 USD annually. This position is eligible for an additional compensation award that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
