The Opportunity

Opportunity to join a thriving HVAC Manufacturer Representative in one of the strongest economies in the country. We are currently seeking to grow our team by adding an Inside Sales Professional. This role involves technical reviews of plans and specifications, equipment selections, compilation of technical submittals, equipment pricing and lead times. Under the guidance of a Project Engineer Manager, the Inside Sales Professional will receive training on the HVAC equipment we represent and develop long‑term relationships.

The position requires strong oral and written communication with the Sales Team, Customers, and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining customer satisfaction. A detail‑oriented, customer‑service‑oriented, organized, people‑oriented, sales‑driven team player is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Equipment and accessory design selection and pricing
  • Communicate with Sales & Estimating teams to ensure scope is covered and issues or concerns are resolved before the request is due
  • Address equipment design and selection requests with accuracy before the request is due
  • Track progress, changes, and identify any risk on equipment as it pertains to bidding
  • Work with Project Manager on equipment hand‑off, submittals and IOM when needed
  • Ensure technical submittals are correct, complete and align with project requirements
  • Work with S. Conley staff and vendors to utilize software and platforms needed to complete work
  • Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers and manufacturers
  • Other duties assigned & related to position
Required Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, deal with ambiguity, and manage high‑volume projects
  • Desire to grow professionally and pursue a career in equipment sales
  • Must be technically oriented, customer service–driven, sales‑driven and a team player
  • Working knowledge of MEP consulting, architecture, design, CAD, general contracting, mechanical contracting, engineering or construction industry
  • Background in mechanical systems or construction; HVAC preferred but not required
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn additional software such as Bluebeam Revu and manufacturer selection software
Compensation & Hours
  • Base Salary: $60,000 to $85,000 per year, DOE
  • Performance Bonus Comp Plan
  • Substantial Benefits Package
  • Regular Business Hours 8 am to 5 pm including a lunch break; hours may shift to meet position objectives and client needs
