District Modernization Sales Manager

This role leads the District MOD sales team in the Pacific District, driving consultative, value-based selling and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop KONE's position and customer base in the market.
- Drive proactive engagement and solution selling with various customer segments, showcasing value across the lifecycle.
- Ensure development of customer relationships, profitability, loyalty and satisfaction.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision makers, potential new targets and influencers.
- Promote and demonstrate the value of the KONE digital offering.
- Create and execute District and Individual Sales Plans (ISPs) for the team.
- Participate in market and customer analysis to ensure quality sales planning.
- Participate in pricing and offering management to drive market pricing and profitability.
- Gather relevant information about competitors and market from the field.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑selling all KONE solutions.
- Lead the sales process, ensuring CRM data quality, opportunity management and accurate reporting.
- Achieve results within orders, contracts, profitability and market price development.
- Set sales targets according to market potential and FL unit guidelines.
- Drive short‑ and long‑term sales results from the team.
- Execute and advise on pricing guidelines for the area.
- Coach and develop the sales team through one‑to‑one dialogue and best‑practice sharing.
- Manage team performance, competencies, onboarding and succession planning.
- Collaborate with AME Modernization team to improve processes and support data analysis.
- 7+ years of technical sales and sales leadership experience, preferably in service or technical sales.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with consultative value/solution selling methodology.
- Ability to lead and sponsor change, managing cross‑functional teams locally and remotely.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort in using sales tools, analytics, and financial metrics.
- Excellent coaching, motivational and teamwork skills.

Annual base pay ranges vary by location (subject to experience, qualifications and other factors).
- Portland, OR / Las Vegas, NV / San Diego, CA / Sacramento, CA: $171,600 – $235,900
- Glendale, CA / Costa Mesa, CA / Redmond, WA: $184,400 – $253,500
- San Francisco, CA / San Leandro, CA: $200,400 – $275,500
- Helena, MT: $152,300 – $209,400
Variable compensation includes annual bonus based on company and individual goals.
