Nwestco is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Petroleum Equipment Service Technician to support our expanding customer base in Bozeman, MT.
If you have hands-on experience with fuel systems and enjoy troubleshooting in the field, this is a steady, long-term opportunity with a company that has consistent work and room to advance.
Pay ranges from $30-$40/hr per hour based on experience and includes full benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, plus a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.
Your Mission:This is a field-based role servicing commercial fueling systems. You’ll:
Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, pumps, tanks, and piping systems
Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in fueling equipment
Service tank monitoring systems and leak detection equipment
Calibrate and test fuel dispensers for accuracy and compliance
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Respond to service calls and troubleshoot on-site equipment failures
Complete service reports and documentation
Maintain compliance with EPA, state, and OSHA regulations
You’ll work independently in the field with support from an experienced team.
What You Bring to the Table:Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with tank monitors such as Veeder-Root
Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to work independently and provide strong customer service
Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are a plus — but we’re willing to support continued training for the right candidate.

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:
Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check. If the position is classified as safety-sensitive, it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
