Job Summary
Sprinkler Installer V – responsible for installing and servicing fire suppression equipment in commercial and industrial settings. Primary work location:
Bozeman, MT. Sign‑on bonus and relocation reimbursement available.
- Document all work performed.
- Consistently follow company/industry safety policies and procedures.
- Install and/or service suppression extinguishing equipment (electrical & mechanical) for kitchen hoods, paint booths and other engineered clean‑agent systems in high‑tech and heavy‑industrial industries.
- Complete the installation of fire alarm electrical and fire‑protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial applications.
- 5+ years of experience with fire sprinkler/mechanical installation and service.
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and resolving field conflicts on mechanical/sprinkler installation drawings.
- Professional communication skills with customers.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to carry or move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and work in difficult positions such as ladders, scaffolding, and high‑rise equipment.
- Willingness to work alternative shifts, weekends, on‑call rotations, and overnight travel as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school degree/certificate preferred.
- Fitters card or license desirable.
- Open to long‑distance travel.
Hourly rate: $30–45, determined by education, experience, skills, location, and market data.
