At Comfort Systems of Montana, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer. This role is critical to providing exceptional HVAC services to commercial and residential clients. As a Journeyman Installer, you will lead installations, ensuring electronic and mechanical components meet high standards of quality and efficiency, and work on a variety of HVAC systems, including smart home automation and energy‑efficient technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the installation of commercial and residential HVAC systems with precision, including ductwork, mechanical components, and smart home automation systems.
- Supervise and train 1–2 apprentice team members, fostering their development with strong communication skills.
- Rapidly address challenges using analytical skills, promoting teamwork and shared goals.
- Maintain current industry standards and technology advancements; obtain or be willing to obtain EPA and NATE certifications.
- High school diploma or GED mandatory.
- Minimum two (2) years of HVAC industry experience.
- In‑depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems; ability to read mechanical drawings and HVAC wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Must have or be willing to obtain EPA Certification (Universal); NATE certification expected within first 12 months.
- Highly motivated, self‑starting, goal‑oriented.
- Detail‑oriented with a systematic approach to precision and efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional competence.
- Ethical, assertive, analytical problem‑solver.
- Team player thriving in collaborative environments.
- $30–$45 per hour plus performance‑based bonuses.
