HVAC Maintenance Technician | $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:30pm | occasional overtime

Position Overview

This entry-level role provides hands‑on training designed to build a successful career in the HVAC industry. Technicians will learn maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service skills while working alongside experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in on‑the‑job training involving residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, and system evaluations
  • Deliver outstanding customer service during every interaction
  • Discuss repair and replacement recommendations with customers and coordinate replacement opportunities with the sales team
  • Educate customers on indoor air quality products and system enhancements
  • Communicate training needs, equipment requirements, and professional development goals with management
  • Work toward obtaining industry credentials, including EPA and NATE certifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving history
  • Previous experience in HVAC, construction, or a related trade preferred
  • EPA Universal Certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire (training provided)
  • Ability to acquire and maintain required hand tools
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • HVAC trade school or technical program completion preferred but not required

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
