We're seeking an experienced residential technician to join our tenured, tight‑knit team and be part of building our residential service and retrofit department. - Diagnosis & Repair:
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant‑related issues on furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners. - System Performance Checks:
Measure airflow, static pressure, superheat/sub‑cooling, and amperage draws to ensure safe, efficient operation. - Preventive Maintenance:
Clean coils, change filters, inspect ductwork, test safety controls, and verify condensate drainage. - Refrigerant Handling:
Recover, evacuate, and recharge refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations. - Controls & Calibration:
Calibrate thermostats, verify control sequences, and program communicating systems. - Service Titan Expertise:
Use Service Titan to log work orders, update customer histories, generate invoices, and schedule follow‑ups. - Customer Solutions:
Explain findings in clear, non‑technical language; recommend repair versus replacement; and provide budget‑sensitive options. - Sales
Collaboration:
Partner with our sales team to size equipment, prepare replacement proposals, and secure customer approvals. - Safety & Compliance:
Follow OSHA standards, local codes, and manufacturer guidelines on every job. - Mentorship:
Share best practices with junior techs and trainees to elevate team performance. - People‑First Service:
Engage warmly with customers, build rapport, and always demonstrate a genuine desire to help solve problems and make lives more comfortable.
- Experienced: 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
- Licenses: EPA Certification Required.
- Nate Certification (we provide training).
