POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Workforce Consultant / Disabled Veteran Outreach Provider (DVOP), you will play a key role in empowering job seekers and eligible veterans to achieve meaningful employment and career growth. You will collaborate with individuals to develop personalized job search plans, provide individualized support through career counseling and resource coordination, and help clients enhance their job-readiness skills so they can connect with opportunity.

By building strong connections with local employers, facilitating workshops, and offering up-to-date labor market insights, you will serve as a vital bridge between talent and opportunity, contributing to a stronger workforce and resilient community.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
This role offers a clear pathway to translating your military experience into a meaningful civilian career while continuing your commitment to service. As you develop and implement personalized job search plans, you'll strengthen your ability to assess strengths, identify barriers, and create structured, goal-oriented strategies, building on skills often developed through mission planning and operational execution. Through ongoing case management and one-on-one counseling, you'll expand your leadership and communication abilities in a civilian context, learning how to guide, coach, and support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

By coordinating services and tracking outcomes, you'll build practical experience in data-informed decision-making, documentation, and program accountability; skills highly valued across many civilian career paths. Leading workshops, supporting job seekers, and collaborating with employers will further strengthen your public speaking, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, preparing you for roles in workforce development, program management, or community leadership.

This full-time role offers the chance to continue serving your community in Montana while building a civilian career, with access to outdoor recreation, strong local connections, and a high quality of life.
