Full Stack Developer, App Developer - Mobile/Web
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop user‑facing features in the onX Offroad app using Swift
UI and UIKit - Integrate with internal platform services and third‑party APIs to deliver connected app experiences
- Write quality code, tests and review pull requests promptly
- Participate in the iOS team architecture and code standard discussions
- Contribute to quarterly planning by proposing technical solutions aligned with product goals
- Collaborate effectively with other team members in verbal and written communication
- Look for opportunities to leverage AI in daily work by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional software development experience is required, where iOS development was your professional focus for at least two (2) or more years.
- A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI.
- A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values.
- Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
- Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a Basecamp.
- Experience working with mapping software or apps.
- Experience with Analytics, client events.
- Background writing unit, integration, or UI tests (XCTest, Quick/Nimble).
- REST/Graph
QL API design awareness from a mobile consumer perspective. - Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams.
- Comfort working in a consumer‑facing app with a large user base.
- Ability to work effectively with a distributed team.
Applicants can expect to make between $130,000 to $153,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. Full‑time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
