Driver, CDL, Truck Driver
Seeking Class A or B CDL Roll‑Off Driver - $32 per hour. This is a full‑time/year‑round position.
Locally grown, veteran‑owned waste hauler is looking for a fun, energetic people to join our team. We are a fast‑paced company with immediate openings for Roll‑Off Drivers.
Candidate must have a Class A or B CDL, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a pre‑employment screening, which includes previous employer inquiries, drug and alcohol testing, and MVR records.
Candidate would be servicing residential and commercial roll‑off customers. L&L; has a very high standard when it comes to customer service. Our employees are the face of our company. Therefore, we are looking for individuals who will represent us well in our community, the Gallatin Valley and beyond.
Candidate must be able to communicate well with others, including supervisor, fellow co‑workers and customers.
Job SummaryThe truck operator will be responsible for the operation of Roll‑Off trucks.
Duties / Responsibilities- Performs vehicle safety and operation in pre‑checks and post‑checks of route.
- Drives varied routes daily.
- Collects materials in Roll‑off containers and disposes in proper sites such as the landfill or recycling centers.
- Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues.
- Operates machinery to hoist or compress refuse.
- Cleans and inspects vehicles at the end of the day.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to adhere to safety standards and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Class A or B Driver's License.
- Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred).
Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post‑offer/pre‑employment medical screen, and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and throwing.
- Must be able to lift up to 51 pounds at times.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Exposure to strong odors.
