Receiver, Warehouse

Simpson Strong‑Tie is a leader in engineered structural connectors, software, and solutions for the building industry, committed to customers and employees.

As a Receiver, you will be responsible for receiving and stocking finished goods needed to fulfill customer orders. The position works a Monday – Friday shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm, overtime as needed.

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Unload trucks, verify quantities, inspect materials for quality, and ensure incoming products meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize inventory.
• Identify, tag, store, and locate finished inventory. (70%)
• Create, verify, and apply receiving labels, packing lists, and receipts for all inbound materials. (10%)
• Maintain a clean work environment. (10%)
• Other duties as assigned. (10%)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Simpson Strong‑Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or receiving experience preferred.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment.
• Mathematical Reasoning: add, subtract, multiply and divide two‑digit numbers.
• Work independently, follow written and oral instructions, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
• Effective communication: speak, listen, and ask questions to ensure understanding.
• Quality standards knowledge: understand company quality standards and control processes.

Regularly stand, walk, see, talk, and hear; occasionally sit. Operate large equipment and maintain position to operate it. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50pounds and heavier with proper equipment. Work near moving mechanical parts; noise level loud; exposure to dust, heat, cold, wet or humid conditions.

Full‑time, non‑exempt. Gallatin, TN. No travel required.

$23.00 – $31.97 per hour.
