Position SummaryAs a Receiver, you will be responsible for receiving and stocking finished goods needed to fulfill customer orders. The position works a Monday – Friday shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm, overtime as needed.
Responsibilities- Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
- Unload trucks, verify quantities, inspect materials for quality, and ensure incoming products meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
- Receive, stock, rotate, and organize inventory.
- Identify, tag, store, and locate finished inventory. (70%)
- Create, verify, and apply receiving labels, packing lists, and receipts for all inbound materials. (10%)
- Maintain a clean work environment. (10%)
- Other duties as assigned. (10%)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Simpson Strong‑Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
- 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or receiving experience preferred.
- Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
- Prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment.
- Mathematical Reasoning: add, subtract, multiply and divide two‑digit numbers.
- Work independently, follow written and oral instructions, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
- Effective communication: speak, listen, and ask questions to ensure understanding.
- Quality standards knowledge: understand company quality standards and control processes.
- Problem solving: address practical problems with limited standardization.
- Teamwork: collaborate with other team members to accomplish group goals.
- Results focus & initiative: multitask and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer service: apply customer service principles and processes with others.
- Reading comprehension: interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
Regularly stand, walk, see, talk, and hear; occasionally sit. Operate large equipment and maintain position to operate it. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50pounds and heavier with proper equipment. Work near moving mechanical parts; noise level loud; exposure to dust, heat, cold, wet or humid conditions.
Work Status & LocationFull‑time, non‑exempt. Gallatin, TN. No travel required.
Pay$23.00 – $31.97 per hour.
