Position: Solar PV Installer

Location: Bracknell – Travel within 1 hour across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000

Solar PV Installer opportunity available with our client, a renewable energy contractor based in Surrey specialising in the installation of solar PV systems, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging units, and battery storage systems within domestic properties.

• Work on roof-based installations of domestic solar PV systems alongside electricians and labourers.
• Manage project completion from roof preparation/mounting, system layout, through to panel placement and client handover.
• Travel to domestic sites across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, and surrounding areas.
• Take responsibility for health and safety requirements on site.

• Experienced in completing domestic solar PV installations.
• Confident in leading small teams on roof-based projects with strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Background in roofing or electrical work.
• Any electrical or solar‑specific tickets such as NVQ Level 3 or C&G 2399 are highly desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Basic salary £35,000 – £42,000, negotiable depending on experience.
• Company van.
• 5‑hour working week.
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
• Company pension provided (initial 5% employer contribution).
