Seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily cash operations and tuition management. This role is heavily focused on tuition collections and business to consumer transactions, especially during peak enrollment seasons. This is a stable, team oriented environment with growth potential and the opportunity to expand into additional accounting functions over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily use of Blackbaud is required. Must have strong working proficiency.
  • Manage tuition billing and collections, approximately 80% of daily workload.
  • Process cash receipts and perform cash applications.
  • Interpret and reconcile incoming payments, including automated and manual transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Support tuition related items including uniforms, reimbursements, and related student account activity.
  • Assist with light reconciliations as needed.
  • Support payroll processing on an as needed basis.
  • Assist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as business needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or cash applications.
  • Proficiency with Blackbaud is required.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Experience working in a high volume, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with account reconciliations.
  • Experience in education, nonprofit, or tuition based environments.
Schedule
  • School Year

    Hours:

    7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with one hour lunch.
  • Summer

    Hours:

    9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • School holidays observed.
