Tax Manager, Financial Compliance, Accounting & Finance, Financial Reporting
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a rare one. A well-established, highly profitable boutique CPA firm in the Bradenton–Sarasota area is seeking a Tax Manager to take true ownership of its tax practice — with a genuine, defined path to partner in approximately five years. Not a someday-maybe promise: the firm is intentionally building its partnership pipeline, and this seat is part of that plan.
The work itself is different, too. The firm operates a fully outsourced accounting model — CFO advisory, back-office accounting, attestation, tax, and forensic services — and lives inside its clients' finances year-round. That means continuous, proactive planning instead of a compressed filing-season scramble, and a tax team that works hand-in-hand with accounting and advisory rather than receiving a shoebox in February.
The client base is owner-operated, closely held businesses with significant construction and real estate concentration — complex, engaging work with the variety of a boutique and the quality of a much larger shop.
Emotional intelligence, coachability, and an ownership mindset are valued here as highly as technical skill. The right person wants to build and lead a practice — and will get every opportunity to do exactly that.
