Ideal candidates have OEM automotive technical experience and can work on a variety of makes and models. We are fast‑paced and value efficient, accurate work.
ResponsibilitiesThe Service Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned, following dealership standards and repair orders. Key duties include:
- Perform repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain or order parts.
- Diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs, authorizing customer if needed.
- Save and tag parts on warranty jobs or upon customer request.
- Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work.
- Notify service consultants of additional work, missing work, or inability to meet promised time.
- Document work on each vehicle using the concern, cause, and correction format.
- Return customer vehicles clean and maintain a neat shop area.
- Account for all dealership‑owned tools at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values with customers, co‑workers, and vendors.
- Own mechanical tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive dealership experience, 2+ years required.
- Vehicle inspection experience for UCI, PDI, and MPI.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- ASE/OEM or trade certification(s) strongly suggested.
- General mechanical skills required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
- Good judgment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
