Commercial Vehicle Detail & Reconditioning Technician Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends | Bradenton, FL We're Looking for a Real Detail Professional

SRQ Auto is looking for an experienced, hardworking Commercial Vehicle Detail & Reconditioning Technician who knows how to take a vehicle from "used" to something a business owner will be proud to put their company name on.

This is an opportunity for someone who isn't afraid to work hard and wants to earn good money for producing great work.

We stay busy. We have a consistent flow of commercial trucks, cargo vans, box trucks, utility trucks, service bodies, and shuttle buses that need to be fully reconditioned and prepared for sale.

We need someone who can come to work, manage their time, stay productive without constant supervision, and get vehicles finished.

If you're an experienced detailer who takes pride in your work and knows how to hustle, we want to talk to you.

You'll be responsible for helping take our commercial inventory through the reconditioning process, including:

• Complete interior and exterior detailing
• Deep cleaning commercial vehicle interiors
• Pressure washing trucks, vans, bodies, compartments, and equipment
• Cleaning cargo areas, shelving, bins, service bodies, and utility compartments
• Removing decals, vinyl graphics, lettering, adhesive, and residue
• Machine buffing, polishing, waxing, and restoring vehicle finishes
• Headlight and exterior trim restoration
• Light cosmetic touch-up work
• Preparing vehicles for photography and customer delivery
• Identifying cosmetic issues that need additional attention
• Following SRQ Auto's vehicle reconditioning process
• Keeping your work area and equipment clean and organized

This isn't about spending all day making one vehicle perfect.
Quality matters, but so does productivity. We need someone who understands how to work efficiently, finish the job correctly, and move on to the next vehicle.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has professional automotive detailing or reconditioning experience
• Knows how to properly use a buffer/polisher
• Has experience removing decals and adhesive
• Isn't afraid of heavily used commercial vehicles
• Notices the details other people miss
• Can work independently without someone constantly checking on them
• Manages their time efficiently
• Works with urgency while maintaining quality
• Shows up on time and is dependable
• Takes ownership of their work
• Has a positive attitude
• Wants to work and wants to earn

Experience with commercial trucks, RVs, boats, aviation, body shops, paint correction, pressure washing, or other professional reconditioning environments is a plus.

This is physical, hands-on work.

You'll get dirty.

You'll work around large commercial vehicles.

You'll spend part of your day outdoors in Florida heat and humidity.

Some vehicles will be easy. Others will need serious work.

We aren't looking for someone who needs to be pushed to stay busy.

We're looking for the person who sees the next vehicle waiting and gets after it.
