Responsibilities
Coordinates all community and physician relations activities, oversees physician outreach and marketing team members, and develops a comprehensive internal/external Business Development plan. The plan is designed to build and enhance services that strengthen relationships within the community, hospital, other healthcare entities, physicians, and their office staff. Opportunities for improvement are evaluated and action plans put in place to address and resolve challenges/issues.
Trains and directs subordinate staff and leaders in obtaining goals and objectives. Coordinates activities within the BD community and serves as a liaison between the Executive Team, Medical Staff, and Nursing departments. Responsible for written and oral communication to assure physicians/offices are updated on services available within MMHS, and demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
