Role Description

The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Bradenton, FL, responsible for overseeing all phases of residential home construction from pre-start to completion. This role manages daily jobsite activities, including scheduling trades, coordinating inspections, monitoring quality standards, and ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes. The Construction Manager tracks project timelines, oversees budgets and cost controls, and enforces safety policies to provide a secure work environment.

The role involves supervising trade partners and field staff, resolving construction issues, and communicating regularly with internal teams to support on‑time, high-quality deliveries. The Construction Manager also interacts with customers and sales teams to address construction-related questions and support a positive homebuyer experience.

Qualifications
  • Strong supervisory skills to lead field teams, coordinate trade partners, and manage daily jobsite operations.
  • Experience in budgeting and project control to monitor costs, track progress, and maintain schedule and financial targets.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations, with the ability to implement and enforce safety programs on site.
  • Hands‑on experience in residential construction, including familiarity with building codes, construction methods, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across construction, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and basic office applications (e.g., MS Office) for reporting and scheduling.
  • Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on multiple active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
