Empath Health is seeking a Graphic Designer who turns ideas into impact supporting our Marketing and Communications team.
Design. Create. Inspire.
The Graphic Designer leads the conceptualization and execution of visually compelling, on‑brand design solutions that support integrated marketing efforts across Empath Health and its member organizations. This role brings stories to life through cohesive design systems that span print, digital, photography, and video, while supporting organizational goals and marketing strategies.
Working closely with Brand Managers and the Senior Marketing Director
, the designer translates business and marketing objectives into high‑impact creative solutions. The role requires strong design making, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining consistency across channels, service lines, and audiences.
- Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality, on‑brand creative assets across print and digital channels in support of integrated marketing initiatives
- Serve as a brand steward by consistently enforcing and adhering to established brand standards across all creative deliverables
- Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines, messaging strategy, and visual identity standards prior to release or production
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the quality, effectiveness, and relevance of creative work
- Generate original creative ideas and design solutions that support marketing objectives while maintaining brand consistency

- Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, visual arts, graphic arts or design or related field and 3 to 5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience designing high-end, original graphics for print, digital and video production, including extensive computer graphics experience preferred.
- Proficiency in design and video editing software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator, etc. Must also have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Extensive project management experience, from concept creation through editing and implementation.
- Ability to work in PC environment.
- Self-disciplined with effective time management skills and able to work in fast‑paced, multi‑task environment with rapidly changing priorities and under limited supervision; ability to clarify ambiguous situations, resolve outstanding issues and react quickly to changes in direction.
- Proven track record of working in collaborative teams.
- Demonstrate genuine, enthusiastic interest in new projects and possess the ability to help develop ideas for new projects as well as sound ideas on updating existing ones.
- Must provide extensive portfolio.
