Description:

As a Periodontal Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care.

You will assist the periodontist with surgical and non-surgical procedures.

You will maintain sterilization protocols and educate patients on oral health and post-operative care.

You will work in a fast-paced practice where attention to detail and compassion are key.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for periodontal procedures.

Assist the periodontist with surgical procedures such as scaling and root planning, crown lengthening, dental implant placement, and tissue grafting.

Ensure accurate documentation and charting of patient records.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.

Monitor inventory and maintain adequate stock of instruments and supplies.

Ensure proper infection control protocols and compliance are met.

Support front office staff with scheduling and patient communication as needed.

Foster a collaborative and professional clinical environment.
