Nurse Educator

Functions independently to collaborate, assess, identify and meet the educational needs of Hospital staff to maintain and improve competence in their defined roles and provide opportunities for staff fulfillment of regulatory agency requirements. Responsible for the design and implementation of effective educational programs through application of adult learning principles and utilizing multiple teaching approaches including blended learning, to meet multiple staff learning styles.

Creates or revises pertinent educational programs, coordinates implementation of course content, monitors participant progress and evaluates overall effectiveness of programs. Participates in and contributes to interdisciplinary performance improvement activities. Integrates evidence-based practice and nursing theory into education interventions. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

This opportunity is for a full-time position. Minimum of two (2) years of education experience, preferred. Critical Care or Emergency Room experience, required.
