E.I.T. (recent grad or ≈2 years’ experience)In Bradenton to help design docks, seawalls, and marinas along Florida’s Gulf Coast, from Tampa down to Sarasota.
If you like the marine environment, and think you’d enjoy learning how to design structures to withstand a hurricane, you would be an ideal candidate. In this role you will be preparing calculation packages and construction plans for these waterfront projects, working under the review and guidance of a P.E.
Benefits- You will be working directly under me (Owner / P.E.). You will most likely learn more, and become a better engineer, compared to working for other firms.
- The marine environment is unique, and you’ll occasionally be paid to go on a boat, which is a nice perk.
The work is complex at times and detail-oriented. Very few engineers design marine structures, so the work is not as standardized a practice as something like building design, which some engineers would not enjoy.
Qualifications- A degree in civil or structural engineering.
- A willingness to learn waterfront design.
- No marine-specific background is required.
- Entry level
- Full-time
- Engineering and Information Technology
If this is interesting, we invite you to apply.
