What You'll Do

+ Build custom automation machines from scratch, not maintenance work

+ Assemble and integrate mechanical systems, subassemblies, and full machine builds using drawings and schematics

+ Install and connect mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components

+ Perform precision alignment, tuning, and system integration

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues during build, test, and startup

+ Partner with engineering to ensure machines meet performance and design specs

+ Support equipment testing, validation, and commissioning (including occasional onsite installs)

+ Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized build environment

What You Bring

+ 5-10+ years of true machine building experience (custom equipment required)

+ Proven experience building full machines, not just maintaining or repairing equipment

+ Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layouts

+ Hands-on experience with assembly, integration, and system troubleshooting

+ Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve complex build challenges

+ Experience in automation, manufacturing equipment, or custom machinery environments

+ Engineering degree a plus (not required for strong builders)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bradenton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
