Tech Certified Cardiac Cath Lab Full Time Days On-Call Required

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Lakewood Ranch, FL

The Cardiovascular Technologist assumes the responsibility and accountability, under the direction of a physician, for providing safe and competent care, both technically and clinically, in the diagnosis, treatment, and intervention of cardiovascular disease in accordance with Lakewood Ranch Medical Center policies, procedures, and philosophy.

• Provide leadership and collaborate with all healthcare team members within the cardiac cath lab and the facility as a whole.
• Be willing to train Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, or X‑Ray/CT Techs.
• Demonstrate service excellence at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Previous Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, or Invasive Vascular Lab experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS (obtained within one year if new graduate or first offering).
• RCIS / RCS / Radiology Tech or enrollment in an accredited program.
• Experience managing inventory desired.
