Job Overview
The Lead Cardiovascular Technologist provides direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab. Proficient in scrub and monitor roles during all procedure types in the Cardiovascular Lab. Communicates continuously with physician about patient condition. Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities. Performs as a preceptor for new staff and assists with supply and equipment training for new and current employees.
Takes the lead with supply management and supply charge management for billing. Serves as the point of contact for all supply vendors to ensure equipment and supplies are available for cases. Proficient in operation of all cardiovascular lab equipment. Performs as a leader and sets the example for safe, quality patient care.
- Lead collaboration within the cardiac cath lab and the facility as a whole, providing leadership and teamwork with the healthcare team.
- Willing to train Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, or X-Ray/CT Techs.
- Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, computer, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Graduate from an accredited ARRT program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, PT Tech, or invasive Lab experience as Scrub Tech
- Active license RT(R) (CI) or RCIS; or RN with RCIS; BLS and ACLS current
