Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Hospital Medical Technician (ASCP) to join a leading healthcare facility in Bradenton, FL. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The role involves performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist or pathologist to support quality patient care.

• Collect and process laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests using manual and automated techniques
• Prepare and maintain reagents and equipment, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
• Keep up-to-date with new techniques and procedures in the field of medical technology

• Valid ASCP certification
• 1-2 years of experience as a medical technician in a hospital setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
• Understanding of safety and infection control protocols
• Willingness to stay current with advancements in medical technology
