Schedule: 4:00am to 2:30pm (Rotating Weekends)
OverviewThis position contributes to the mission of the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and the goals of the department by obtaining and/or assisting in the processing of laboratory specimens to facilitate the production of quality results. Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC), located in the heart of the Lakewood Ranch community, has served the people of Lakewood Ranch and surrounding areas since 2004.

- Performs LIS / computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
- At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience is preferred.
- Must possess current skills so that orientation is strictly an orientation to our facility and its instrumentation, policies, and procedures.
- Recent graduates of phlebotomy certificate programs may be considered.
- No license required;
Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
