As an Activities Assistant at Manatee Springs Care & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant community for our residents.

As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for creating engaging and entertaining activities for our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well‑being, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Your duties will include:

• Planning and implementing activities such as games, exercise programs, art classes, and social events
• Collaborating with other staff members to develop and implement individualized activity plans for each resident
• Conducting assessments to identify residents' interests and abilities, and tailoring activities accordingly
• Maintaining accurate records of resident participation and progress
• Participating in staff meetings to discuss resident care and activity updates

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and position residents (up to 50 pounds) as needed
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
