As a Lead Central Sterile Technician, you’ll help deliver safe, high-quality care by ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are expertly cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use. With strong attention to detail and by leading through example, you’ll help create a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement that drives excellent outcomes and improves lives every day.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Leading the preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and ready for use
- Organizing instruments and equipment based on surgery schedules and special case needs
- Monitoring sterilization processes and equipment performance, keeping accurate records, and promptly reporting any issues
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked workspace that supports the team and upholds the highest infection control standards
- Training and supporting team members to work safely, follow best practices, and care for every patient like family
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience;
Lead or Supervisory level experience is strongly preferred - Current certification (CBSPD or HSPA)
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds
