Responsibilities
  • The Psychologist (Forensic) performs a wide range of duties and is responsible for using their expertise to provide an actionable analysis that may be used in court.
  • Must conduct interviews, interpret their findings and publish reports explaining the results.
  • Provide psychological insight into a person's behavioral patterns.
  • Develop and administer psychological tests.
  • Maintain records of all interviews and findings.
Requirements
  • Degree:
    Must have a PhD or PsyD in Forensic Psychology from an accredited college or university by the American Psychology Association with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Internship:
    Must have completed one year internship in the field of Forensic Psychology
  • Experience:

    Must have at least one year of full-time experience in the last two years.
  • Licensure:
    Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in the state of Florida.
