Medical Office Receptionist

Nextaff is urgently hiring an experienced Medical Office Receptionist to work with a busy primary care practice in Bradenton, FL. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you'll be greeting & checking in patients, answering telephone calls and fielding inquiries regarding scheduling, prescription refills, billing, and other general patient questions and ensuring patient notes are updated.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire assignment, with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule, that provides a clear path to earning a permanent position with great benefits with our client.

• $17-$19 per hour, commensurate with experience

• Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a medical office environment
• Bilingual skills, fluency in both English and Spanish, strongly preferred
• You have knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
• You have experience documenting in and updating patient data in EHR application (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred)
• You are friendly, outgoing, have an excellent telephone presence and enjoy solving problems
• Background and drug screening required
