Job Summary:

Provide specialized nutritional guidance to patients as a Travel Dietitian, supporting clinical teams and ensuring compliance with facility policies. Deliver nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients on dietary needs within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients based on medical history and current health status.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to integrate nutritional strategies into overall patient care.
• Educate patients and families on dietary requirements and healthy eating practices.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to facility policies, work schedule, and rotation requirements, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current registered dietitian (RD) credential or license.
• Possess at least 1 year of clinical nutrition experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient education skills.
• Exhibit the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Be flexible to work shifts as scheduled, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Have knowledge of hospital nutrition protocols and safety standards.
