Responsible for managing the daily functions of the Admissions Department. Coordinates the inpatient admissions, outpatient registrations, emergency registrations, bed management, and financial counseling processes. Serves as a liaison between Admissions and the central billing office. Responsible for maintaining Service Excellence standards within the Admissions Department. Counsels and administers corrective action when applicable. Meets the educational and developmental needs of the staff by conducting monthly staff meetings, orienting and training new employees, and providing on-going training.

Monitors reports relative to the work area for compliance to policy and procedure and on-going evaluation of indicated changes. Performs job candidate interviews and hires new employees. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

• This position is for a full-time evenings 4pm-12:30am evenings position as an Admissions Supervisor
• Responsible for main Emergency Department and 4 Free-Standing Emergency Departments
• 2 years of registration experience, required
• Prior Supervisory experience in ER Admissions Department, required
