Laundry Attendant

Position Summary

Laundry Attendants are responsible for maintaining the laundry operations at a boarding school and sports training destination located on a 400-acre campus.

• Perform a variety of laundry related activities such as washing, drying, and folding garments and linens
• Ensure laundry is completed according to the company’s established schedules and standards
• Responsible for the day-to-day pick-up and delivery of laundry across campus
• Maintain laundry logs and other documentation to track laundry completed
• Operate washing machines and dryers according to instructions and safety protocols
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laundry machines to ensure optimal performance
• Regularly monitor laundry supply levels and equipment to ensure proper usage and replacement
• Report any maintenance concerns or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel
• Ensure the laundry facility is clean and organized at all times
• Handle guest requests related to laundry services or special requests in a professional manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and continually enhance the campus experience
• Requires a background check upon offer
• Requires a pre‑employment drug screen upon offer

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer‑oriented and friendly
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of laundry operations and equipment

• Ability to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks
• Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
• Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc. in all weather
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
• Requires the use of stairs on a consistent basis
• Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
