Laundry Attendent

Job Description: As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the laundry department. Your primary duties will include washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items, ensuring they are cleaned to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items including linens, towels, uniforms, and personal clothing.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, tears, and damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Keep track of inventory and notify the supervisor of any supply shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, following all safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and clients, addressing any laundry-related concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina, as the job requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
