IMG Academy's Campus Technology Department is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented AV & Campus Infrastructure Technician to support the physical technology layer across one of the world’s premier sports and education campuses. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role focused on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems, structured cabling, security camera infrastructure, digital signage, and IP video distribution across a large, multi‑facility campus environment.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same. This individual will work directly under the Manager of AV & Campus Infrastructure and alongside fellow technicians to execute projects, respond to service requests, and maintain the physical infrastructure that powers campus operations.

• Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment across classrooms, conference rooms, athletic venues, and event spaces, including displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and video distribution hardware.
• Perform routine AV system checks, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across campus facilities.
• Support AV setups and breakdowns for campus events, athletic competitions, and special programs.
• Respond to AV service requests and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating complex problems to the Manager when appropriate.
• Assist with AV lifecycle projects including new installations, system upgrades, and end‑of‑life equipment replacement.

• Install and terminate structured cabling, including copper (Cat6/6A), fiber optic (single‑mode and multi‑mode), and coaxial cable, per TIA/EIA and BICSI standards.
• Perform cable pulls, conduit work, rack builds, patch panel terminations, and cable management across IDF/MDF and campus facilities.
• Support network drop installations, fiber splicing, and physical layer infrastructure builds for new construction and renovation projects.
• Conduct cable testing and certification, documenting results and resolving failures prior to project closeout.
• Maintain organized and properly labeled infrastructure across all campus IDFs, MDFs, and equipment rooms.

• Install, aim, and configure IP security cameras across campus facilities per approved coverage plans and department standards.
• Support the Milestone VMS platform, including camera onboarding, basic configuration, and health checks.
• Troubleshoot camera connectivity, image quality, and recording issues; elevate systemic or platform‑level problems to the Manager.
