Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.
TheOpportunity
Candidate ideally resides between Tampa and Port Charlotte, FL and be willing and able to travel locally to support the territory. This position also requires flexibility in work schedule, including some catastrophe losses with extended overnight and weekend travel.
Appraise and/or adjust physical damage and mechanical claims within an assigned territory and key point or other assigned location for the various Ally F&I products. Assist other appraisers, may handle subrogation investigation at direction of claim office. Prepare estimates and reach agreed prices for repairs on insured vehicles.

- Handle additional repair orders and special assignments for the claim offices.
- Handle large catastrophe losses and function as team leader when called upon.
- This may also include settlement of loss.
- Initiate the total loss handling process for conclusion by the Claim Offices.
- Assist in other geographic locations at the direction of claim management.
- Participate in training, educational activities, regulatory compliance awareness and maintain appropriate licensing and continuing education requirements.
- 1+ years in customer service or financial services industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.
- Prior leadership experience is needed.
- Education may be used as a proxy for experience.
- Ability to perform technical based activities.
- Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
- Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.

- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
