The Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance, functionality, safety, and appearance of three Sun Profacilities. The position provides hands‑on support for building maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, facility projects, and emergency response. The technician identifies problems before they become larger issues and coordinates with department leaders,maintenance personnel, contractors, and service providers to keep all three buildings safe, functional, and operational.

• - Maintain the day-to-day operation and condition of all three Sun Pro buildings.
• - Inspect buildings, grounds, offices, production areas, warehouses, restrooms, and common areas.
• - Identify facility deficiencies, safety concerns, and maintenance needs; prioritize repairs based on urgency and business impact.
• - Perform general repairs involving doors, locks, hardware, walls, ceilings, floors, lighting, fixtures, and other building components.
• - Assist with facility moves, reorganizations, equipment moves, and construction‑related projects.

• - Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for facility systems and equipment.
• - Perform routine inspections and document completed maintenance.
• - Identify recurring problems and recommend corrective actions.
• - Maintain records of repairs, inspections, service calls, parts, and facility projects.

• - Monitor and assist with HVAC, exhaust systems, fans, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• - Identify abnormal operating conditions and coordinate specialized repairs with qualified contractors.
• - Monitor building temperature, ventilation, lighting, and water systems.

• - Support Sun Pro's safety program by identifying and correcting facility hazards.
• - Conduct routine facility safety inspections and maintain clear emergency exits, walkways, aisles, and fire equipmentaccess.
• - Report unsafe conditions promptly and assist with OSHA, fire, insurance, and other regulatory inspections.
• - Ensure contractors follow Sun Pro safety requirements while working on company property.

• - Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers for repairs and preventive maintenance.
