The Opportunity Hulsing Enterprises is a privately held, multi-entity company spanning hotels and country clubs, grocery retail, and medical equipment and services across multiple states. We are in an active growth chapter — expanding operations, professionalizing shared services, and moving corporate reporting onto Net Suite.

This is the seat that makes that transition real. As Director of Corporate Accounting, you are the senior financial leader for corporate reporting and shared-service accounting across the enterprise. You report to the CFO. You own the integrity of the numbers, the cadence of close and reporting, the quality of the team, and the systems that let ownership make decisions with confidence.

This is not a sit-back-and-review role. It is a player-coach assignment: present to ownership, roll up your sleeves on the close, stand up Net Suite reporting the right way, and build the people and processes that will scale with the business.

Why This Role Is Different You join during a live ERP chapter. Net Suite is the destination for corporate reporting — you will help design how the enterprise closes, consolidates, and tells its financial story on the new platform.

The portfolio is unusually interesting. Hotels, clubs, grocery, and medical services do not look the same on a P&L. You will bring consistent accounting standards to businesses that operate very differently.

Ownership is close. You will brief the CFO and ownership with clear commentary, not a data dump. Your judgment will be visible.

The team is yours to raise. Recruit, coach, and develop finance talent at corporate and property levels so the function keeps pace with growth.

Orlando is the base. Start remote. Transition to hybrid as the corporate rhythm settles.

What You Will Own Financial reporting and analysis

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the enterprise and each operating unit — consolidated and entity-level statements, P&L roll-ups, balance sheets, and performance dashboards.

Analyze results across business units. Surface material variances, trends, risks, and opportunities. Deliver clear recommendations to the CFO in a regular one-on-one cadence.

Keep accounting methods, cost practices, and P&L standards consistent across hotels, clubs, grocery, and medical operations.

Build and maintain models, dashboards, and reporting tools that give ownership real-time visibility into enterprise and unit health.

Turn around ad hoc analysis for the CFO and operating leaders accurately and on time.

Accounting operations, Net Suite, and compliance

Oversee day-to-day transaction processing: general ledger, reconciliations, AP, and AR. Prioritize automation in cash matching, reconciliations, journal entries, and process simplification.

Lead the corporate reporting transition to Net Suite — chart structure, close workflow, consolidation logic, and reporting packages that leadership will actually use.

Control fixed asset inventory and depreciation schedules.

Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits. Prepare, explain, and close findings promptly.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws and reporting requirements across business types and operating states. Keep enterprise financial policies current as regulation, the business, and ownership priorities change.

Team leadership

Lead, coach, and develop the Finance and Accounting team. Set expectations, give ongoing feedback, run formal reviews, and recognize strong work.
