Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products according to company standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of sewing techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., walking foot, serger, flatbed, overlock) to sew fabric and other materials.
• Follow production patterns, instructions, and blueprints to assemble products such as garments, upholstery, safety gear, or industrial covers.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Measure and cut fabric/materials as needed.
• Perform minor machine maintenance (threading, needle replacement, oiling).
• Meet daily/weekly production targets and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues.

• Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing or textile production environment.
• Familiarity with different types of fabrics and stitching techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, patterns, and technical drawings.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
