- Visually inspect machines, equipment, and verbal descriptions by operators to locate causes of malfunctions.
- Conduct plant inspections and perform preventive maintenance.
- Install and/or assemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other drawings.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of Batch Panels as needed.
- Remove and replace malfunctioning motors and pumps and realign and adjust such components.
- Operate shop equipment such as grinders, band saws, cut‑off saws, drill press, forklifts, and cranes.
- Maintain established housekeeping standards at all times; keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
- Perform work in all areas of the plant using the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Exhibit a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors, and the general public.
- Travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
- Stand for long periods performing tests in hot weather or current conditions.
- Perform other related duties as required or directed.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machine diagnosis and repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of both electrical and hydraulic systems and components.
- Basic knowledge of welding and light fabrication.
- Ability to communicate, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Regular and timely attendance is required.
- Pass pre‑employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check and driving record review.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in the repair of manufacturing plants is highly desired.
- Must possess a valid and current Driver's License or equivalent.
