Position: PARENT LIFE DIRECTOR

Ministry Site Director

Position Summary:

The Ministry Site Director provides spiritual and organizational leadership, develops relationships, builds teams, and advances Youth for Christ’s mission. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with and through others, and the stewardship of YFC’s Cultural Attributes:
Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and kingdom inspired diversity.

Essential Functions
  • Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team in accordance with the processes found in the Knowledge Base.
  • Create a strong connection between local churches and the ministry site.
  • Provide training materials and ministry site standards for ministry leaders.
  • Develop healthy 3‑Story teams at each ministry site.
  • Establish necessary support and guidelines to ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sites.
  • Advocate in the community for young people.
  • Report progress and ministry updates to YFC.
Relational Ministry Action Development
  • Manage, facilitate, and serve in Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs).
  • Direct the 3‑Story Team at the site in accomplishing RMAs standards.
  • Establish and develop programming materials.
  • Train and evaluate ministry site leaders in implementation of curriculum materials.
Spiritual Responsibilities

As an associate minister of the Gospel, YFC expects employees to seek God’s guidance through prayer, participate in worship, teach and preach from the Holy Bible, and model empathy, humility, and care for all. Employees may be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through YFC processes or an outside body recognized by YFC USA.

Parent Life Director

Position Summary:

The Parent Life Director focuses on providing spiritual and organizational leadership for the Parent Life ministry connected with the Manatee County TAPP program, aiming to replicate exemplar Parent Life ministry sites throughout the Suncoast YFC ministry area.

Essential Functions
  • Build a team culture that embodies the 5 Essential Elements.
  • Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team in accordance with the processes found in the Knowledge Base.
  • Create a strong connection between local churches and the ministry site.
  • Provide training materials and ministry site standards for all ministry leaders.
  • Develop healthy 3‑Story teams for each ministry site.
  • Establish necessary support and guidelines to ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sites.
  • Advocate in the community for young people.
  • Report progress and ministry updates to YFC.
Relational Ministry Action Development
  • Manage, facilitate, and serve in Relational Ministry Actions.
  • Direct the 3‑Story Team at the site in accomplishing RMAs standards.
  • Establish and develop programming materials.

Site Health
  • Organize and categorize tasks into a sustainable checklist for daily, weekly, and monthly rhythms.
  • Ensure New Sites are implemented per Ministry Model 101 in the Knowledge Base.
  • Maintain health and growth standards for all existing ministry sites.
  • Coordinate ministry readiness with the team throughout the week.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or property issues to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Ensure Organizations using property follow the Building Use Agreement.

Fundraising Responsibilities

All YFC employees are expected to participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship function of YFC/USA, including invitations to fundraising events, donor outreach, correspondence, and personal ministry to donors.

Budget Responsibilities

Oversee site expenses and maintain financial accountability.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise all Site Volunteer Ministry leaders.
