Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
📍 Location: Bradenton, FL
🚫 Local Radius Rule: Must live 100 miles away
🕒 Shift: 06:30 AM – 7:00 PM
2 years Acute Care Operating Room experience – REQUIRED
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
Active Florida RN license (or compact license) – Required
BLS – Required
ACLS – Required
PALS – Required
BSN – Highly preferred
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care and supports surgical procedures in both scrub and circulating roles.
Responsibilities include:
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during operative procedures
Prepare and maintain the operating room using proper aseptic and sterile techniques
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members
Prepare equipment, instruments, and surgical supplies
Verify equipment functionality and ensure implants/supplies are available
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the surgical team
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
