Charge Nurse (RN) Medical Step-Down Unit (2RS) Full Time Nights at Manatee Memorial Hospital
The Charge Nurse (RN) in the Medical Step-Down Unit oversees nursing care delivery during night shifts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires at least one year of acute care experience, nursing licensure in Florida, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke.

ResponsibilitiesThe Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies and procedures, standards and philosophy.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
