About Manatee Memorial Hospital
Manatee Memorial Hospital, located in Bradenton, Florida, is part of the Manatee Healthcare System and has served the community for over 70 years. The 295‑bed facility offers advanced healthcare services across a range of specialties, including cardiac care, emergency services, surgery, orthopedics, radiology, rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care, and women’s and children’s services. It also provides a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.
ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The RN demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, serving as the foundation of all patient‑centered nursing care. Duties include communicating with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid in patient health, and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

- Current RN licensure in Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
