Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the residents of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. As part of the Manatee Healthcare System, the hospital has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. The 295‑bed facility boasts more than 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offering advanced services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgical services— including robotic‑assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System— a weight‑loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care, and women’s and children’s services.
The hospital also hosts a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.
The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. The role coordinates multidisciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies and procedures, standards, and philosophy.

- Full‑time nights Charge RN position with the Palma Sola Free-Standing Emergency Department
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Current ER experience required

- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through the American Heart Association
- Current PALS through the American Heart Association
- Current TNCC certification
- Current NIH stroke certification
- CPI required within 6 months of hire
