Responsibilities

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist under the supervision of a licensed physician delivers anesthesia consistent with the policies, procedures and regulations of the acute care practice setting during the perioperative period. The CRNA demonstrates service excellence standards at all times and assists with other duties as assigned.

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for 70 years. The 295‑bed hospital with over 550 physicians, residents and allied health professionals offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment, including cardiac care, emergency care, surgery services with robotic‑assisted surgery, a weight‑loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology, rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women’s and children’s services.

MMH offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs and the only Pediatric Center in Manatee County.

• Current Florida RN license
• Prefer 3‑5 years of clinical experience
• Current official recognition as a CRNA in Florida
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
