Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Specialist is responsible and accountable for providing supportive patient care. The Specialist facilitates unit operations, including clerical work, stocking, ordering, transporting, and specified patient care duties. The Specialist must consistently demonstrate service excellence and may be assigned additional duties as needed.

• State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
