Student Nurse Oncology Per Diem MMH

Responsibilities

• As part of a patient-first approach, nurse interns are paired with a registered nurse, nurse preceptor, or other licensed healthcare professional to develop critical thinking skills and clinical experience to support a smooth transition in practice after graduation from an accredited nursing or other accredited program. Creates and nurtures relationships with patients, family, community, colleagues, and staff in a caring and healing environment, exercising teamwork within a professional practice environment.
  
  Strives for excellent patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

• Educational requirements include the following options from the original description:
  High School Diploma/GED;
  Vocational/Technical School/Diploma;
  Associate's degree;
  Bachelors Degree;
  Masters Degree;
  Other:
  Completion of Level 1 Fundamentals of Nursing.
• Required Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification;
  Active enrollment in an accredited RN or LPN program;
  Completion of at least one semester of an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Required Experience:
  
  Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience.
